Centr Launches Premium Treadmills - Athletech News
Centr, the fitness brand founded by Chris Hemsworth, is breaking into the cardio market with a brand-new treadmill line. Centr’s nine premium treadmills are built for both high performance and style.
“This is a big moment for the Centr team. We’re seeing remarkable demand for cardio equipment, and these treadmills answer that call,” said Andrew Sugerman, CEO of Centr.
“Our community is always reaching for new fitness goals, and we wanted to create equipment that meets their needs while looking great in any space. With various options, we’re making premium fitness accessible to everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes. These treadmills are designed to last, look stylish, and fit seamlessly into any home.”
The new treadmill lineup is already partially available, with three models for immediate purchase and six more set for release by year-end. Ranging in price to meet different budgets, each treadmill also includes a free membership to Centr’s app.
The treadmills were designed to blend into home aesthetics, with select foldable models for easy storage. Their energy-efficient motors are quiet to minimize disturbances, and they use cloud cushion technology to reduce injuries and increase runner comfort. Each purchase also includes a free, three-month Centr app membership.
Treadmill Options
For runners in smaller spaces, Centr introduces the foldable Centr Runr and Runr-S models. These treadmills have a powerful, quiet 3.0 HP brushless motor, ideal for smaller living spaces. The Centr Runr-S also includes a 10” multimedia screen with smartphone mirroring, providing a personalized, interactive experience. The Runr’s prices start at $1,199.
“The Centr treadmills are absolutely legendary. They’re smooth and reliable for my marathon and HYROX training,” said Centr coach and performance chef Dan Churchill. “The foldable Runr models are ideal for city living, giving you space to do circuit and strength training in your home gym. I’m excited to see how the Centr community uses these for winter workouts!”
For athletes who love HYROX, Centr introduced the motorless Centr x HYROX Perform Treadmill. Designed with a curved surface and multi-position handlebar, the model allows users to switch from running to resistance training, simulating sled pushes or pulls. With eight levels of magnetic resistance, a backlit LED display, and Bluetooth connectivity, The model is available for $5,999.
Later this year, Centr will release six more treadmills as part of its most premium lineup, the Inspire Series, each designed to meet a variety of fitness needs and preferences.
Complementing its treadmill launch, Centr is introducing a “Strength for Runners” program, available on the Centr app. The program focuses on building power and mobility to optimize cardio and endurance training. In 2025, Centr will launch more digital running programs.
