Seven items customers are shocked to find at Dollar Tree

Sep 14, 2023

DOLLAR Tree has been selling multiple items that shoppers may not expect.

It's no surprise that customers save money while shopping at the discount retailer.

However, many customers are noticing typically high-priced items being sold at Dollar Tree fur just $1.25.

With over 15,500 locations across the US and Canada, the store offers tons of name-brand products for much lower prices than places like Target or Walmart.

Just note that items and availability will likely vary based on store and state.

You can find your nearest Dollar Tree by checking its store locator tool.

The U.S. Sun has put together a list of items to score from the discount retailer that may shock you.

Shoppers were shocked to learn that the discount retailer sells a few types of pregnancy tests.

Other pregnancy tests cost anywhere between $8 to $22 depending on the brand, fast detection, and a few other factors.

At Dollar Tree, customers can choose from a few different tests all from the brand VeriQuick for just $1.25.

All claim to be 99 percent accurate and offer results in just three minutes.

Cushioned insoles are also another shopper favorite as these can cost into the hundreds depending on brand and material.

Even Target and Walmart sell them for no less than around $13.

However, customers can scoop them up from Dollar Tree for just $1.25.

In fact, the retailer even sells the insoles in packs of three and comes with fun patterns.

The Retinol Makeup Cleansing from Global Beauty Care still shocks customers.

Not only do they remove makeup from the face, but each wipe also contains retinol.

Retinol is a product known for its anti-aging properties, keeping the skin clear and tight.

Since retinol can be pretty expensive, getting 30 wipes per package for just $1.25 is a steal.

While they may not be name-brand, that probably won't make a difference with frames.

Most look nearly identical to alternatives that you’d pay at least $7 for elsewhere.

Before buying, always make sure that the frame is in good condition, and that the hook and/or stand in the back work properly and support the weight of the frame.

The retailer also has a large selection of supplies for students and teachers.

Paper products like notebooks, poster boards, index cards, and more only sell for $1.25 or less while other stores price them much higher.

And while Dollar Tree may not have brand-name craft products, you’ll be able to grab crayons, markers, and more for better prices.

There are plenty of education-related stickers and decorations that are perfect for teachers looking to spruce up a classroom, too.

Jade rollers are another item shoppers are shocked to see on Dollar Tree shelves.

These massage tools are said to firm the skin and remove puffiness from the face.

Jade rollers also help decrease inflammation and increase circulation.

While other places sell them for between $6 and $100, shoppers can score them for just $1.25.

Dollar Tree surprisingly sells salon-grade hairbrushes for much cheaper than traditional grocery stores or salons.

Its detangling brush resembles the Wet Brush, a popular product that stylists across the globe use.

The Wet Brush brand is still fairly affordable as it's sold online for about $10.

However, the Dollar Tree dupe is nearly identical and over 90 percent off.

Deodorant is not something many folks want to skimp on.

However, Dollar Tree sells the same brands as traditional grocery stores.

Shoppers can find big brands like Speed Stick, Sauve, Old Spice, and more for just $1.25.

The store even carries products for those with sensitive skin.

Dollar Tree CFO warns that higher prices could be on the way.

Plus, shoppers are left with one less Dollar Tree as a location has just shut down.
